Eloise Rowland

Eloise was born into a musical family and was heavily involved with music from a young age. She began proper singer lessons from the age of 14 with Rose Saunders and then classical/musical theatre singing tuition with Jennifer Barnes in 2005-2007.

She was a member of Newcastle's Young Peoples Theatre from the age of 11 for drama/acting/musical theatre classes and then performed in productions of Bugsy Malone and Hansel and Gretel 2005 and 2006 in Lead and Principal Roles.

Eloise attended Newcastle Grammar School and was appointed as Senior Musician in Year 12. She performed in the Year 10 production of Little Shop of Horrors and was involved heavily with the school choirs, also appointed as Senior Choir Leader.

Eloise has been a member of University of Newcastle Chamber Choir since the beginning of her Bachlor of Music degree (majoring in voice) in 2008 and performed with them in Channel 7's Battle of the Choirs. She is currently a member and will travel with them to China for a choir tour in 2010.

She has performed in numerous Newcastle Festival Opera productions and concerts like Wonderful Town as a chorus member, Mozart's The Magic Flute as one of the Three Spirits, and the Music and Moonlight concert in 2009.

Eloise is in her last year at the Newcastle Conservatorium of Music, for Bachelor of Music degree, studying under the tutelage of Chris Allan.

Kathryn Sinclair

Ten time Tony Award watcher Kathryn Sinclair has been performing solo for the past 19 years. She has performed in concerts with Marina Prior (Seven Network) and Peter Cousens; danced for both the NSW and QLD Youth Ballet Companies; worked as an actor/model for Skins Sportswear; as an actor/dancer for TTT Dance commercials (Ten network), as a comedienne in the AW Comedy Festival and lent her voice for the workshop and Demo recording of the new musical Angels (“Angels in NY” on SBS). She has worked with Choreographer John O’Connell (Enchanted, Moulin Rouge), MD Peter Casey (Les Misaerable, Evita), and singer, dancer, actor Nancey Hayes (Sweet Charity, Chicago).

A graduate of Certificate IV in Music Theatre from the Actors College of Theatre and Television, Kathryn has performed such roles as Mabel (FAME: The Musical), Fiona (Fringe Benefits), Mama/Guido (Nine), Maureen (Rent), Dot (Sunday in The Park With George - Shorts) Baker’s Wife (Into The Woods) and Cinderella (Cinderella). Recently Kathryn has also performed in the ensemble for shows such as The Witches of Eastwick, The Magic Flute, The Producers and Wonderful Town, and as a soloist for the CONDA’s.

Kathryn won the 2009 Stage and Screen Prize at the Warner’s Bay Eisteddfod. She was featured on Channel Sevens Battle of the Choirs and Carols in the Domain with the University of Newcastle Chamber Choir and is the groups ‘Choralographer.’ She toured with a choir to France and England, and solo to Scotland where she won two consecutive Highland Dancing Championships and performed Celtic music for guided tours. Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Music and is currently studying Honours at the Newcastle Conservatorium of Music.

Todd Power

Todd began learning the piano at a very young age, receiving his first piano at the age of six. He is currently in his final year of a Bachelor of Music at the University of Newcastle (studying a double major in Performance and Music Technology/Creative Production).

Todd studied the piano throughout primary and secondary school at the Tamworth Regional Conservatorium of Music (TRCM) taught by Jeanette Woodbridge.

Through the TRCM Todd participated first in the Tamworth Regional Youth Training Orchestra as a percussionist, before moving into the Tamworth Regional Youth Orchestra (TRYO) directed by Anne Hoy. TRYO has been asked to tour nationally and internationally to participate in orchestra conventions for young members.

Upon coming to the Newcastle Conservatorium of Music, Todd studied piano under Luba Totoeva and Gian-Franco Ricci. He became the pianist for the University of Newcastle Symphony Orchestra in 2008, directed by John Kellaway, a position he kept for two years until asked to join the University of Newcastle Wind Orchestra as a percussionist as they tour to New Zealand in April 2010, directed by Ian Cook.
